In a sealed-style setup, moisture naturally cycles: water evaporates, condenses on the glass, and returns to the soil. This terrarium is considered sealed-style, meaning it’s designed to hold humidity and support a stable microclimate. The hinged roof does not form an air-tight seal, which allows minimal ventilation when needed.
Start with a very light watering after planting. After that, watering is typically infrequent—monitor soil moisture and condensation. If the glass stays heavily fogged for days, open the hinged roof briefly to vent. If the soil dries out, add small sips of water.
Moss, fittonia, miniature ferns, and small tropical cuttings are popular choices. Avoid harsh direct sunlight and choose plants with similar moisture needs.
You’ll receive the terrarium (metal base + glass house), a plastic liner, and a professionally printed planting brochure. Plants, props, stones, and décor elements are not included.
